In Ukraine, Moldova according to a new law which will come into force on 1 January, 2018, the municipal governments will be responsible for the organization and coordination of the transportation, processing and utilization of waste. In order to be effectively prepared for this task, in the frame of this project implemented with the support of the International Visegrad Fund, the delegation visited Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. During the study trip, the participants studied the practices of waste management of the Visegrád countries.
