The aim of the project is to enable refugee families already living in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Hajdú-Bihar counties to live independently by mentoring their families; to facilitate their employment (job search, CV writing); to provide tutoring for children; establish inter-professional cooperation with organisations working with Ukrainian refugees in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Hajdú-Bihar counties; support refugee families and mothers (food, cleaning materials, sanitary products, medicines).
To this end, they carry out the following activities:
- Family mentoring: they will continue to provide ongoing and regular mentoring to families, who also need people in a foreign country to share their problems and concerns with and ask for help. They provide assistance with official formalities, guidance, help with filling in documents and translation.
- They run a roundtable for inter-professional cooperation with NGOs and other organisations and institutions working with refugees.
- Developmental sessions and tutoring are held in Uszka, where children are still not attending school or kindergarten, so there is a great need for tutoring and development. In Debrecen, development sessions for children are held on a weekly basis.
- Support packages are provided to refugee families in case of need, such as medication support, baby packages.
