Eszter Hegedüs, a fourth-year law student at the University of Debrecen, has been selected as a student of the Carpathian Foundation's Carpathian Equal Opportunities Scholarship Program for the academic year 2023/2024. She is characterized by active community-building activities, continuous scientific research and excellent academic results. She spends her internship at the Rainbow in the Rain Foundation: https://szivarvanyazesoben.hu/
One of the objectives of the Carpathians Foundation is to help disadvantaged students from the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg in Eastern Hungary to successfully complete their higher education, thus becoming European intellectuals with skills and qualifications, who stay in their local communities and work for the betterment of their environment.
To achieve this goal, the Foundation runs a complex scholarship scheme that enhances the scholarship holders' sense of regional and social identity and develops their skills through the elements of the programme that will help them to find a job in the future.
We wish you success in the work at the NGO!
