Donation to the Odessa Rehabilitation Hospital
Washington, DC – The Hungarian American Coalition (Coalition) has donated a mobile emergency medical examination unit to Odessa Memorial Hospital in Ukraine.
Family Day at the Wonder Castle
The project "Wonder Castle for Refugees" of the Hidden Treasures Down Association has come to an end, but they continue to help and develop the children of Ukrainian refugee families in Nyíregyháza. At the beginning of November, a family day was held, which was also reported in the local media.

Civil Map- Future planning workshop
A two-day “Future Planning Workshop” brought together members of the CSOs participating in the Civil Map project. The project aims to develop the advocacy capacity of civil society organisations in North-East Hungary and equip community leaders with the knowledge and methods to effectively organise local people around local public issues. At the workshop, the participating organisations learned about the process of community advocacy with the help of the Civil College Foundation.

Event of the Help yourself... project in Nyíregyháza
The Carpathian Emergency Response Fund for Ukrainians - Supporting the integration of Roma refugees in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Hajdú-Bihar counties - sub-fund supports the National Association of Roma Women of the XXIst Century. The Help Yourself... project, as the name suggests, aims to help the social inclusion of Ukrainian families of Roma origin settled in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county through mentoring.
We introduce our new scholar
The Carpathian Foundation's Carpathian Equal Opportunities Scholarship Programme's grantee for the academic year 2022/2023 is Zoltán Szűrös, a student of the University of Debrecen, majoring in commerce and marketing, who will spend his internship at the Martfű Town Planning Association for 10 hours per week between October 2022 and June 2023.

Visit of experts from Slovakia
At the beginning of October, our sister foundation Carpathian Foundation-Slovakia organized a three-day best practice visit - for early childhood professionals from Slovakian NGOs -to visit Hungarian associations working in the same field. On the first day, they visited IndaHouse Hungary Association in Fügöd, one of the association's sites, where they met local professionals and learned about their work.
