The Carpathian Foundation considers self-employment as a breaking-out possibility for disadvantaged social groups, settlements and regions, therefore we support the spreading and strengthening of the different forms of self-employment through our programs and projects.
Based on these considerations, the Carpathian Foundation participates at an international project led by the FeLSA CISL (Italy), supported by the European Commission, to prepare a comparative study identifying and analyzing the current situation, and best practices of self-employment Europe-wide.
The implementers of the project are various types of organizations: research centers, NGOs and trade unions from eight European countries: Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Greece, France and Italy.
