Civil innovation - good practices from the Carpathians
During March-April 2021 Carpathian Foundation-Hungary and its partner organizations in Slovakia, Ukraine and Poland organized an inter-regional webinar series consisting of four events, each on different topics, namely social adaptation, community journalism, early childhood development of Roma children, youth and women issues. The main objectives of this inter-regional webinar series were to identify and exchange good practices, models and initiatives that can be adaptable to other localities, and to assist CSOs to share these methods with each other at regional and inter-regional level. The main aim was to get to know each other’s work and focus on civil society organizations’ successful social innovation models implemented in rural areas.
During the four events over 150 people participated, and 10 good practices were shared by NGOs from Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine and Poland. Altogether participants of the webinars were very active in asking questions, making comments on the presented good practices in all four webinars, this way the participants from different countries were able to communicate with each other, which was supported by interpretation to all four languages.
