As part of the Central Mountains project, our partners held several professional workshops in November.
One of the events was organized by the Peritum Foundation, which presented the practical application of artificial intelligence in the everyday operations of civil society organizations. The participating organizations tried out various AI tools, such as those for preparing official letters, project budgets, and administrative documents. In addition, they received a tried and tested collection of practical prompts that they can immediately use in their own work.
Several participants expressed interest in the Carpathian Civil Society Platform and indicated that they would join. The participants agreed that digitalization is inevitable and that the civil sector must also continuously adapt.
The second workshop focused on strengthening cooperation with local governments. Not only were good practices presented, but tangible results were also achieved: the participants jointly drafted a motion for the Rzeszów local government on the introduction of a simplified procedure for local initiatives. The workshop leader undertook to submit the motion to the city council and take it through the necessary committee processes.
The two workshops contributed significantly to the capacity building of civil society organizations in the Carpathian Region of Poland, strengthening digital skills, developing cooperation, and deepening regional partnerships.
The Hungarian partner's participation in the project is financed by the Hungarian State.
