How can we create stable sources of funding for the operation of a civil society organization? What new tools, community and online solutions are worth trying? And how can we do all this while strengthening the community and the cause?
We sought answers to these questions at our workshop held on November 13, 2025, in Eger, where we worked together with representatives of civil society organizations, led by fundraising expert Dalma Kökény, through practical examples, joint brainstorming, and inspiring discussions.
During the program, we discussed
– different forms of fundraising (donation collection, grants, partnerships),
– building donor trust,
– and how to communicate a cause in an attractive and credible way.
Márta Rakusz presented the results of the "From the Alps to the Carpathians" Central Mountains project, the Carpathian Civil Society Platform.
