On 4th January in Szajla and on 11th January 2022 in Szomolya the local health visitors presented the roles, rights and tasks of the health visitors. They introduced the preventive tasks, obligations and responsibilities during their services. They emphasized the importance of the cooperation with parents as well.
We support the early childhood development of disadvantaged children with more than 38 million forints.
Carpathian Social Innovation Award
On 1st December in Szajla, on the 2nd December in Bükkszentmárton and on 7th December in Szomolya workshops were organized, entitled „Depending on…-Information about drugs”. It was presented by the experts of RÉV - Help Service for Addicted People organization. There were conversations about drugs and addictions.
„Social studies in nutshell” workhops were organized this November in the „Know your rights!” project. This time Adam Rostas, history teacher gave a presentation in Bükkszentmárton, Szajla and Szomolya about the obligations of the state, the rights of citizens. He adverted the notion, rights and obligations of state, the Constitution and the constitutional rights of citizens. There was a conversation about the parliamentary and local elections and the main roles and tasks of local municipalities as well.
October was the month of excursions in the „Know your rights” project. On 20th October, a one-day trip was organized to Budapest by the Pearl of Tarna Association for the community of Szajla. The team visited the Tropicarium in the Campona, later the Hungarian Parliament hosted by Mr.László Horváth, Member of the Parliament. Besides, the group visited the main sights of the capital.
„The significance and importance of kindergarten in the life of small children” was the title of the workshops organized in October 2021 in Bükkszentmárton, Szomolya and Szajla. Andrea Bocsi, the head of Garden City Kindergartens of Eger was the presenter who talked about the importance of kindergarten education, early childhood education, what the kindergarten prepares for, what are the obligations and rights of parents and institutions in this regard.
In autumn 2021 with the support of the LEGO Group and LEGO Foundation, the Carpathian Foundation donated LEGO sets of high value for kindergartens, schools and tanodas operating in Northeast Hungary.
Carpathian Civil Society Platform is driven by the common vision to strengthen a vibrant, pluralistic, and rights-based civil society in the territory of the Carpathian Euroregion. The Platform supports collaboration among those civil society organizations who work for the most marginalized and vulnerable communities in the Carpathian Euroregion. It is aimed to strengthen the influence and weight of civil society by capacity development with creating networks for local and interregional networks, exchange of experience, knowledge and best practices of social innovation.
