The project is implemented within the frames of ‘Strengthening social participation through community development’ entitled EFOP-1.3.5-16 coded European Union funded program established to strengthen community engagement, volunteering and to promote philanthropy on local level.

Thankfully to the 1% tax offerings of private persons and to the contribution of Fred Robey, our Foundation announced its Carpathian Equal Opportunities Scholarship Program for the 2016/2017 semesters.
1. What is the TGE?
The TGE network was created in 1999 by several European foundations and associations in order to promote and facilitate transnational donations.
2. Why choose TGE?
TGE represents a unique opportunity for donors to safely give to officially recognized non-profit organizations from another European country while benefiting from the tax reduction policy from the donor's country of residence.

Since the establishment of the Carpathian Foundation, the external environment, by which the creation of the Foundation was motivated and its mission was defined, has profoundly changed. In the border regions of the five countries of Carpathian Euroregion - Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine - civil society organisations (CSOS) were strengthened. In four out of five countries, the peripheral nature was changed by their accession to the EU.
