"JobNet" International Conference

The mission of the JobNet project is to search and popularize initiatives which successfully support the combat against youth unemployment and which would apply in other member states of the European Union. From November, 2012 to February, 2014 in 6 European countries (Czech Republic, Croatia, Latvia, Hungary, Germany and Slovakia) an international, comparative research has been going on with the aim to find the reasons of youth unemployment. Three volunteers take part in it from each country, follow the “Nothing about us, without us” principle.

RomaNet – community based capacity building Project

The RomaNet – community based capacity building has been successfully carrying out the (HUSK/1101/1.5.1-0104) project what is implemented by the Carpathian Foundation - Hungary and its partner, the ETP Slovensko with the support of the Hungary-Slovakia Cross-border Co-operation Program 2007-2013 (www.husk-cbc.eu).

"Get in the game"- project

The Carpathian Foundation-Hungary  is the lead partner in the implementation of the international project „Get in the game!”. The cross border partner is the Karpatská nadácia.We implement a mirror-project in  the framework of the Hungary – Slovakia Cross – Border Co-operation Programme 2007 – 2013.

Swiss – Hungarian NGO and Scholarship Funds

The first round of the Swiss – Hungarian NGO and Scholarship Funds has been closed.
Project applications to the two Funds which are running in the frame of Swiss Contribution Programme could be handed in until midnight at 12th November, 2012.
These possibilities had great interests: through the online application system 368 valid project proposals were registered until the deadline, in the next subdivision:
NGO Fund:
A priority (provision of social services): 229 pcs.
B priority (responses to environmental concerns): 99 pcs.
 
Scholarship Fund: 40 pcs.

New project: (Re)integration to the labour market

The consortium of SZETA Foundation Eger and the Carpathian Foundation-Hungary was awarded a 42.947.849 HUF grant under a tender announced for infrastructural developments of civil society organizations by the Norda North-Hungarian Regional Development Agency through the Operational Program of New Széchenyi Plan.
