The National Association of Roma Women of the 21st Century concluded its SYROM Playhouse 3.0 project in the Early Years Matter Programme with a visit to a puppet theatre. Assistance had been provided to disadvantaged Roma families living in Nyíregyháza-Jósaváros.

At the end of January, we organised a professional conference on successful early childhood interventions in deprived and excluded communities, entitled Early Years Matter. We heard a presentation by Dr Zsombor Farkas, Associate Professor at ELTE, on the situation of child poverty in Hungary, followed by a presentation by Fanni Salomé Csonka on the work of EMMA Association.

In January 2023, the Board of Directors decided to award grants to 3 NGOs from the Carpathian Emergency Response Fund for Ukrainians.
